About the Opportunity

The Store Manager is responsible for overall P&L including all facets of sales, expense control, inventory management, vendor relationships/contracts, and daily bookkeeping.

  • You will proactively lead the store to ensure achievement of business goals in revenue, expense, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory shrinkage, and associate morale.
  • Selects, trains, develops, schedules, and ensures a high performance and morale among personnel.
  • Proactively leads the store to ensure a successful customer experience.
  • Take ownership for full implementation of corporate programs and initiatives on merchandising, cost management, productivity, and associate morale.
  • Ensure consistency of merchandising execution and operational processes within the store.
  • Handle and resolve customer issues.
  • Understand and communicate competitive activities/trends in market, and unique local market issues.
  • Maintain all operational requirements by enforcing legal regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
  • The Store Manager may perform work activities of all other positions as needed to maintain store efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience with a retail store/field management.
  • Experience with managing others, preferably in retail or service environments.
  • Success record in P&L responsibility
  • Strong Customer Service focus
  • Strong preference given to candidates with at least a Bachelor''s degree.
