Our History

John H. Lamb in 1987 founded Lamb's Tire & Automotive Centers in Austin, Texas. The original Lamb's Tire and Automotive Center was opened in 1987 on Ben White Blvd. in South Austin.

The growth of our company has been accomplished through organic growth. By staying focused on customer service, quality products and services at fair prices we have built on a highly loyal customer base. Those loyal customers have referred many friends to trust us. This is the most basic foundation of growth and one in which we are very proud.

Lamb's is the 26th largest tire and auto service network in the United States and has been ranked in the Top 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Austin for 5 of the past 7 years.
